One big advantage of using social networking sites is for us to stay in touch with our friends across the world. The downside is, the more advanced our world is slowly, or shall I say, rapidly becoming, the higher the risk we are into if we are not prudent enough with joining any social sites online. It can be easy as 123 when we decide to join any social networking sites such as facebook, etc. But we sometimes forget that the more we expose our identity online, the greater the chance that we be victimized by identity thieves. Therefore, it is essential never to trust anybody online with your personal information. Do not easily give it away. Or better, do not display any personal info's in your page which you think is crucial or confidential. Nevertheless, it is a precaution never to accept any friends who, in the first place, are unknown to you.
